Our Technical and Design Experience
At HyPro, our designers can help to optimize designs for castings and incorporate machining processes that will help to drive costs down. We work closely with each customer to optimize part and component designs for manufacturability and cost-effectiveness from both the machining and casting point of view.
We work with numerous digital design programs, including:
- CREO (Pro/Engineer)
- SolidWorks
Our design engineers can review native Creo (Pro/Engineer) and SolidWorks models that customers create or draw on existing models to make Design for Manufacturability (DFM) recommendations. In the DFM process, we annotate all of the changes we would recommend and get approval from the customer before incorporating them. Once we have a solid model completed, we can move on to tooling and fixturing design.
We also use these software programs to design all necessary tooling, including workholding and robotic end-of-arm tooling for our own internal processes. Creating fixture designs in-house allows us to provide shorter project lead times and more easily adapt to last minute changes from our customers.
Our customers consistently rank us highly in technical support for our ability to assist on the design side and get creative with manufacturing solutions. We prioritize quality and adhere to ISO 9001:2015 quality standards.
We’ve worked with customers to design components for numerous industries, including:
- Agriculture
- Construction
- Energy
- Heavy equipment
- Engine
- Material handling
- Military vehicles
- Off-highway
- Transportation (on-highway trucks)
